Desired Candidate Profile

Ö Electrical/Mechanical Engineer from reputed university

Ö Certificate for Energy Manager/Energy Auditor from Ministry of Power, India will be a big plus.

Ö Desired Experience:

o Six to ten years of experience in Power Distribution Companies

o Exposure/understanding of common distribution business practices such as power procurement, distribution network operations & management, metering, billing, collection, consumer grievances, regulatory aspects of distribution business,

o Exposure to Northern Grid Operation

o Exposure to energy management/energy audit/demand side management aspects will be a plus

Ö Preferably a resident of Delhi/willing to relocate to Delhi

o Employee of any private sector power utilities

o Employee of EE Solution Providers / Smart Electrical Equipment Manufacturers

Job Description

Ö Meeting with Utility Power Consumers (UPC)

Ö Electrical profiling of the UPC

o Sources of supply such as connected kW, back-up generation (if any)

o Thorough understanding of Electrical load of the UPC and its break-up in terms of heating/air-conditioning load, lighting load, elevator load, utilities load (dryer, washer, water pump), emergency back-up load

o Understanding metering arrangements at the UPC’s end

o Doing quick energy balance analysis/energy audit of the UPC’s facilities purely from electricity energy perspective

Ö Explaining DR concept to the Potential UPC

Ö Getting the acceptance from potential UPC for initial enrolment

Ö Preparing visit reports

Ö Facilitating installation of equipments at UPC locations

Ö Interacting with Distribution Licensee’s (DL) staff to secure necessary paper-work to complete installation of equipments at UPC’s end

Ö Replying to the technical queries from UPC or the DL
