• 3-5 years of experience working with Flash (CS4), ActionScript 3, web technologies (such as HTML, JavaScript, XML, CSS, and server-side scripting) Captivate, Photoshop, and Illustrator on a daily basis

• Familiarity with audio/video recording and editing

• Strong knowledge of multimedia design: layout, style, color selection, motion, graphics, audio, etc.

• Strong attention to detail – file size optimization, spelling & grammar, pixel-perfect positioning

• Ability to convey your thoughts and design approaches clearly to people who are not multimedia designers

• Able to work on multiple projects concurrently and to meet deadlines consistently

Primary/Key Responsibilities

• Creates sharp, functional, visually appealing multimedia objects

• Creates sharp, functional, visually appealing graphics for both web and print-based deliverables

• Develops graphics, illustrations and other visuals to represent complex content, facts, processes and procedures

• Develops interactive games, simulations, and quizzes

• Creates finished products from a storyboard/instructional design specs

• Ability to work both as an individual and as part of a team is highly important

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with creativity, independence and high standards
