Total IT exp- 3 to 5 yrs
Automation Experience- minimum 2 yrs
Must have worked on any of the following automation Tools - SILK, Selenium, QTP
Good to Have- Selenium , fitnesse experience
• Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree, and at least 3+ years experience in software quality assurance
• Process-oriented with high attention to detail and good follow-through
• Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities
• Experience testing using various Windows environments
• Ability to use scripting tools (Perl, Shell, ANT, SILK)
• Ability to setup and maintain an app server (JBoss) and web server (Apache, IIS, or other)
• Strong XML skills
• Knowledge of database administration for SQL Sever 2000/2005/2008 and TSQL procedures
• Familiarity with source control systems (Accurev, VSS)
• Ability to create and execute automated tests is desirable.
Job Description
Job Summary:
Work closely with developers to design and deliver the key components of the Kronos HR/Payroll application. Responsibilities include developing and executing test strategies to ensure quality service pack releases; ensuring proper functionality and performance of a wide variety of applications and platforms.
Successful candidates will be experienced in modern test methodologies and processes executed throughout the software development life cycle and have a proven track record as an individual contributor in a small Agile team environment. A demonstrated ability to deliver quality product releases on schedule using risk analysis and defect containment practices, test automation, and continuous improvement initiatives are key to this position.
